That’s essentially how the catalogue of established Danish pipe shapes came to be. Michele’s take on this Danish freehand has this wonderful forward momentum to it. The bowl rises into a sharp, asymmetrical rim (which I am personally obsessed with) before sweeping back downward to the bottom of the bowl and back into the longer, stouter shank. That shank is capped with a beautifully dual-toned piece of horn, shifting from a brighter, creamy complexion on one flank to a deeper, earthy brown tone on the other. The horn accent then cleanly transitions us to the pipe’s rich burgundy stem which features just the slightest bend. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMichele has created a sweet piece with a naturally clean flowing silhouette, and for a pipe with this much visual presence, it weighs just 23 grams.
